Currently 11-years old, Darcy Rose Byrnes is most known for playing "Abby Carlton" on "The Young and the Restless",
a role that has earned her 3 Young Artist Awards, another nomination and an ever growing fanbase. Not only can she be seen on daytime TV ... little Darcy Rose has
been on various TV-shows: Ghost Whisperer, House MD, My Name is Earl, Private Practice and Cold Case to name a few.
D'Rose has also played "Kiki George" in a few episodes of Dirty Sexy Money after young actress Chloë Grace Moretz had to leave the show, and played the role of Lucy Zinman on "How I met Your Mother" in 2008.
Soon, she can be seen in two feature films "A Thousand Words" and "The Land of the Astronauts" and she has just recently been in the TV films "Working Miracles" and "Amish Grace".
Darcy Rose has also done 2 more TV movies in the past, in which she played an important part: "The Kidnapping" and "Shark Swarm".
You might have seen her in principal spots for national commercials for Sony
Handicam, JC Penney, Dial, Suncom, Mattel, Comcast, Saturn, Tylenol and even a
radio spot for Sutter Healthcare. Still, she has always had time to pursue her
favorite pastime of theatre. A few of her favorite theatre roles are "Molly" in
Annie, The Fairy Godmother in Cinderella and Amarylis in The Music Man. She
performed In December at The Colony Theatre as Gretyl in The Sound of Music, as
well.
But little Darcy Rose's talent doesn't end there! Not only is she a good actress, she's a fantastic singer as well!
D'Rose has performed "Tomorrow", "The Wizard and I" and many more songs at the Alex Theatre in Los Angeles. She has
aso recorded various songs in a studio. Her videos have been watched countless times on Youtube ... she's a real star!
Born and raised in the shadow of Hollywood, Darcy Rose Byrnes is the daughter
of actors Cathy D’Arcy and CJ Byrnes. Darcy Rose manages to juggle school,
auditions, classes, professional work and play dates! Darcy Rose’s favorite
color is -you guessed it-PINK! She loves animals, especially her pet rat Magic!
However, she has mixed feelings about her Yellow Naped Amazon parrot, Greenburd.
Mostly because he sings louder than she does. And, since her favorite thing to
do in the whole world is to sing and improvise songs, things can get pretty
contentious at times!
